Here is to things calming down!

Things in my life have just been pure craziness!! All in the same week basically I had finals, my car breaking down, moving out, moving in, and cleaning checks! Sam and I have not had a weekend in about a month! The day our old car broke down it was pitch black at night while we were heading up to Heber to drop off some wedding gifts at his parents place! It broke down just before the Damn in Provo Canyon which is actually really lucky because at the bridge and on is actually quite dangerous!! The Air Valve "Peplum" literally broke! which is in the engine and a 1,000 dollar fix and the car has been having issues other than that so we needed a new car.

Sam actually has a motorcycle (hot i know!) and we had been keeping it at his parents place for winter. So with no car we decided to ride that till we got a new car well.... that day it was pouring i mean pouring AND in the 40's! Now just incase you did not know rain on your skin at 70 mph feels like your skin is being torn off by sewing needles! and is rather frigged! it was not a nice ride. The next it began to snow.... However Sam's sweet parents felt mercy upon us and allowed us to use his dad very nice truck! Which came in great handy for moving. We used his truck for about three weeks till we fianly found a new car that we actually got just 2 days ago. A 2005 Honda very nice! drives smoothly amazing breaks its nice!

Friday Gabe Sam's brother came down and helped us move and Jenna my old roommate too. If it was not for them, particularly Gabe we would have died he helped till about 8:30pm from mid afternoon move everything into our new place! it was an awww dropping miracle!! Sam and I felt really bad about it, but we could not be more grateful for what he did. We went to bad a little after 1am and got up at 8:30 am the next day and began cleaning our old apartment.

Sam's mom and dad came down and his sister later that day to help us clean. Check outs were at 3pm. With all 5 of us we finished at 2:10 pm! Boy were we grateful once again! His parents had a lot to do that day and really no time to drive all the way down to Provo to help us clean our apartment but they made that sacrifice anyways and it answered our prayers! and helped us so much!

I have been so stressed that I have broken out SO BAD!! I seriously look like I am going through puberty all over again! and have made myself sick! But I am so happy to say it is all beginning to wind down....

With being completely checked out of our old place, got a new car, and 2 finals down! I only have 2 finals left and moving in (with no time line or fine threat above my head) to worry about now! )

I am so grateful for Sam and his family and all the help they gave I honestly would not have been able to do any of this without them!! None of it! :)
THANK YOU SO MUCH GUYS!!!!! <3

Our old baby!! RIP :) met dated and married Sam with this car! It was his parents wedding gift to us! :) Full tank of gas grrrr! and New side mirror and pretty good tires!

A sweet find while packing up our old place! Cute baby Sam!!

Only HALF WAY through the moving process its even taller now!

our new room and my favorite room!!! Little piece of home!

our new baby! (a little in love too! ) such a nice car!

I am a little bit of a sentimentalist!! Sam had  me take a picture so he could throw it away!

(WILL BE ADDING A PICTURE OF OUR OLD PLACE!)

A break from the break!

Well i have not been here as often as i was doing but this week and past few weeks have gotten busier and busier by the hour! So i decided to take a break from talking about the break that i would love to go back to and complain about everything i have to do!

Between house hunting and having to move out and finals and projects and papers i have been going crazy! Same with Sam! Also our land lord who very politely said screw you on extending the date also asked us last night for our number so she could let us know when people are coming to our house to look at it we asked for the weekend since it is not presentable and she responded yes and asked would tomorrow be sufficient time to show people. We asked for the weekend and she asked to show it today Friday  The weekend has not even started so we told her no starting next week she can show it....

I can not wait for this semester to be over!! Have fun exploring my emotions!

Spring Break Day 2

After a beautiful amazing nights rest, i woke to birds chirping out my window and the warm sun shining in my window. It is one of my most favorite ways to wake up!So I got up and went down stairs. I was able to see mom RIGHT before she had to run off to school (i know totally lame my parents didn't get spring break!) As Sam and I walked her out to the car the weather was just pure AMAZING! seriously heavenly weather. So Sam and i poured our self's a bowl of cheerios and eat out on the deck to enjoy our self's some well deserved sun! it was truly great. My house is right on the canyon and Oh My Word i believe it to be a beautiful sight.

After we ate i noticed that most of the troop woke up so i gave Alex a big hug and introduced my self to the guys i did not know. Eventually, we all got dressed and went to the beach. When we arrived it was still beautiful but very much chilly and overcast and i did not want to spend my time wrapped in a blanket seeing how that's exactly how i spend my time in Utah. Wrapped up hugging a heater complaining about the horrible no fun weather. We of course leaving the beach stopped for Mexican food! the real stuff! I also made sure i got myself a horchata!

That was basically day two all in all.

I ended it snuggled on the couch with Sam Mom and Dad, while watching "The Happiest Millionaire" with the back round sound of dad's VERY MUCH missed snoring. I pride myself on being the only one in the family who can sleep through it :)
The movie we watched! I love this movie i suggest you all see it!! It truly is amazing! :)

Spring Break!!! Day One

So Sam and I had to leave for spring break later than everyone else since Sam goes to BYU and does not actually have a Spring Break. So Sam and I left Tuesday March 12 after he had worked and gone to class. He did leave work early for me :) I was so anxious to go home so we drove straight through which I don't normally do because its a hard drive to go straight through.

We had gotten a rental car this trip because ours is no longer reliable to go that far with no problems. We also got a hybrid which gave us 38 MPG! Amazing! We pulled in just a little after midnight. The begining of the trip was LONG like forever never ending but as we got closer it went by pretty fast. During the drive down however i did sort of louse my mind.....

Me Lousing my mind about 3 to 4 hours into the drive........
It was so nice once we got closer to San Diego! You just get hit with humitity and it feels amazing my next favorite part is when you begin to notice roads you drove on as a kid your whole life... thats when you are home. I ran into the house before Sam even park or stopped the car. Jump up into my dads arms :)  said hi to Sheba.... It was amazing!! Alex and all his buddys
Alexs Buddys
I believe there was even more at one point! Had all gone on a grunion run! I dont really know how to explain a grunion run but at one point during the year when the weather is nice there is a new moon fishes (grunions) come up on to the beach thousands of them do! and lay there eggs in the sand late at night and if you go at the right time you can wittness this. I did once with my family, have not really seen it since. Alex tried three times never got so lucky!

Mom was already in bed and Sam and i were pretty wiped from the drive so we went to bed. I slept like a baby peacefully through the WHOLE night. AMAZING!

New Beginning

So I always figured once I have kids I will try blogging again, because then I will have something to tell. Before it was hard to maintain my blogging because I never had something to share. Who wants to read today I took a test, did three hours of homework, and ended the day with The Notebook. Nobody wants to read that!

Now that I am married to Sam that is no longer true! Sam is such an adventures active guy and I love it! We both have the strong desire to travel the world and see new things, try new things, experience everything. Ever since I have met him we have never had a single dull moment. I love this about him. Whenever Sam and I are on one of our adventures I always think 'I need to be writing down about our trip' but never do since its go go go go!!! in our lives hopefully blogging will help with this!

Every month we always end up going somewhere. Since we are in school it sometimes is the same place but always something new there! But even more so when we get that strong feeling to up and go on a road trip we will go to a hotel near by and have our little get away. Soak in the hot tub and go to an aquarium or something and pretend we are somewhere else. Maybe even on our honeymoon again!

Since we have been married we have gone to

- San Diego <3
- St. George
- Cabo San Lucas
- Colorado
- Las Vegas
- Idaho

This Summer we plan on going to Canada and somewhere for our one year anniversary, right now its between a cruise and Hawaii. If you have any input on either one or even somewhere else completely  please feel free to share! I hope to get better at blogging to share all of Sam and I's adventures with you!

speech tomorrow!!

So i have to give a speech in class tomorrow and it has to be someone you admire and has made a change or difference in your life. Instantly tons of people came to mind. Friends, family, church members, leaders, teachers, and just so many people. Even people you don't know but you saw them do something inspirational. So before i post my  speech i wanted to thank EVERYBODY!!!!! You all have touched my life in so many ways and have helped me become who i am and where i am now! i truly am grateful for everything you have done for me.

Maybe it's because i really miss this person and what he has done.  Since i am in Utah there are thousands of missionary's and on my running route i go past the MTC.  Maybe because of that and because he is on his mission that makes him even more on my mind. Because of that i decided to share my favorite story of Alex as an example of all he's done for me and why i admire him.  So here is my speech. i am not allowed to go up with any material but i know the story like the back of my hand so hopefully i will be okay but still......pray for me.......

Alex Leavitt

My brother Alex is someone that I admire very much. Our relationship grew and grew the older we got until high school where we became the very best of friends. He was always an inspiration to me due to his unwavering courage and his strength to stand up for his beliefs no matter the cost. Alex was a three sport athlete in high school so he was popular and loved as well as respected by fellow students and faculty. He was also very big in the muscle department. Growing up my brother has always looked out for me and has been my body guard as well as best friend. Due to the fact that I had very little friends and that I was different I was often teased growing up. One year when I was a sophomore in high school these two boys in my biology would harass me every day.  I always let it roll off my back until one day I couldn’t take it any longer when they put me into tears. Running to my brother, he puffed up his chest and grew in size looking like a grizzly bear demanding in a deep voice that I point out these two guys. Pointing them out, as it wasn’t hard to find them since one had a huge Afro and the other was wearing a bright orange backpack, he began to march towards them until he stopped in his tracks and returned to his group of friends. Talking and pointing to me I heard the group of very large athletes sternly say “nobody messes with little Leavitt.”  So there went a group of the entire varsity football team and two heavy weight varsity wrestlers across the school quad following first the boy with the Afro since they had split. Our school security guard came up to me and simply asked "do I need to be worried about what your brother is doing?" I simply replied, “No he’s fine!” With a smile he said “okay, well I’m going to go take a lap behind the school where I didn’t see anything happen.” This gesture shows a lot of how my brother was very trustworthy. A few minutes pass and you see this mob emerge from the dark hallway heading to the cafeteria where you soon recognize the next victim in his bright orange backpack. The mob encircles their prey as my brother waves me over. I go and stand hiding under his arm and look at this very frightened kid. The minute he looks at me he begins to instantly break into a sweat knowing he was in trouble now. My brother puts his arm around me and says:
Alex: do you recognize her?
Boy: yes (in quiet whisper)
A: have you been harassing her?
B: (freaks out and starts going off saying it was just a joke it was just a joke!)
A: well I don’t think she found it very funny so you better get on your knees and apologize for every little thing you did
B: but I didn’t mean it!
I had told my brother before this all that the two boys have been doing to me which consisted of ripping up my homework, vandalizing my stuff, saying things such as "Canadians suck" "your stupid and Mormon and their temple needs to burn and die" as well as throwing my backpack in the garbage.
My brother informed the kid that he was Mormon and Canadian and he didn’t find it very funny. The mob who is still circling this kid start yelling "yea, and we are Mormon and Canadian and we didn’t find it funny." So they began to yell out empty threats such as "We are going to throwing a trash can and tell us if you thinks it’s funny!" The boy gets on his knees and begins to apologize saying he’s sorry. My brother then interrupted him and said "be specific." The boy lists off every mean thing he’s ever said or done to me. My brother, remaining a calm but tough statue says clearly and crispy, "this girl here is my little sister and when you mess with her you mess with me and I won’t put up with it like she does. So if I ever find out that you’ve hurt her again I will come and get you.”  The mob of guys join in says,"yea no one messes with little Leavitt.” We begin to walk back to our original spot where they
